New Delhi: In a historic moment, President Draupadi Murmu expressed jubilation across the nation on Sunday, declaring the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the majestic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as an unabashed expression of India's eternal soul and the commencement of a new era in the country's resurgence. 

In a heartfelt letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the consecration ceremony, President Murmu praised the PM's 11-day rigorous 'Anushthan,' highlighting it as not only a sacred ritual but also the supreme spiritual endeavour of devotion and sacrifice to Lord Ram.

President Murmu, applauding the atmosphere of celebration engulfing the nation, stated, "We are all fortunate to witness the initiation of a new chapter in the resurgence of our nation." She emphasized that through the grand temple dedicated to Lord Ram, the timeless values of courage, compassion, and duty embodied by Lord Ram will resonate with people at a universal level.

In her letter, President Murmu wrote, "Our national history has been deeply influenced by the life and principles of Lord Ram, and the ideals of the Ramayana have inspired nation-builders. 

Gandhi Ji, from his childhood, found solace in the name of Ram, and till his last breath, the name remained on his lips. As the nation rejoices in the consecration of the grand Ram Mandir, it serves as a channel to bring Lord Ram's universal values of courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to duty to the masses."

The President further added, "The ideals of the Ramayana will continue to inspire the architects of our nation, and through this magnificent temple, the values of courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to duty, as exemplified by Lord Ram, can reach every heart and home."
