Pricey but Powerful: Lenovo Legion 9i Brings RTX 4090 & More to India for Rs 4,49,990

Lenovo, a global leader in innovative technology, has unveiled its latest gaming laptop, the Legion 9i, in the Indian market. Packed with cutting-edge features and high-performance specifications, the Legion 9i aims to redefine the gaming experience for enthusiasts. 

The laptop is marketed as the "gaming studio in your backpack," emphasizing its portability and powerful capabilities.

One of the standout features of the Legion 9i is its Legion Coldfront integrated liquid-cooling system, co-engineered with Cooler Master. This system supports a maximum 230W TDP for the 16-inch laptop, activating when the GPU reaches 84°C.

The liquid cooling runs over the GPU VRAM, effectively managing heat during intense gaming sessions. Complementing this is an AI-tuned triple-fan air-cooling system with over 6,300 individual intake vents, providing an optimal balance of cooling performance.

The laptop is powered by the 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processor and features the impressive NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. Users can choose between 64GB 5600Mhz dual-channel DDR5 RAM or 32GB 6400Mhz DDR5 dual-channel RAM, coupled with storage options of up to 2TB PCIe (Gen 4) SSD.

The Legion 9i boasts a PureSight 3.2K Mini-LED 16:10 Display with a 165Hz variable refresh rate. It offers options to switch between DCI-P3 and sRGB color spaces, a 94 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Smart FPS for automatic CPU and GPU adjustments to maximize frames per second.

Lenovo has incorporated a Lenovo LA-2 AI chip in the Legion 9i, fine-tuning and optimizing gaming performance by adjusting power consumption. The laptop comes with a 4-cell 99.99Whr battery, runs on Windows 11, and includes a 3-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

In terms of connectivity, the Legion 9i supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. The laptop's I/O features two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C, two Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, an SD card reader 3.0, an audio jack, and DC IN. It also comes with a full HD camera with dual microphones onboard.
