Bollywood Buzz: Aamir Khan's Daughter Ira Khan Set to Tie the Knot with Fitness Trainer Nupur Shikhare

Mumbai, January 3, 2024 – The Khan family is gearing up for a joyous celebration as Aamir Khan and Reena Datta's daughter, Ira Khan, is all set to take the plunge into marital bliss with her longtime boyfriend, fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare. The couple, who got engaged in September last year, is now ready to embark on their journey of eternal companionship.

Nupur Shikhare, born on March 17, 1985, in Pune, completed his schooling in the city before pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Arts. Hailing from a Hindu family, Nupur's mother, Preetam Shikhare, is a dance teacher. Not just limited to fitness training, Nupur has made a name for himself as a celebrity fitness trainer, having provided training to Bollywood star Aamir Khan and even assisted Susmita Sen in maintaining her fitness.

In addition to his fitness expertise, Nupur is also a skilled dancer, showcasing his talent on his Instagram account, where he boasts about participating in the IronMan 70.3 World Championship and the state-level tennis championships.

Furthermore, he has participated in the Ultimate 20 Master Season Two fitness qualification.

Aamir Khan, proud father of the bride-to-be, shared details about Ira's love life, expressing his happiness about her choice in Nupur Shikhare. "He's a lovely boy, and when Ira was going through a tough time with depression, he stood by her side, providing not just emotional but also tremendous moral support," the actor revealed.

The ira and Nupur wedding, reportedly set to take place at Mumbai's Taj Lands End, will honor Nupur's Maharashtrian heritage, promising a traditional celebration.
