The commission has made a significant decision to facilitate candidates who are recommended through CSE-2022 or previous CSEs but were unable to allocate their services before the closing date of DAF-I of CSM-2023

A dedicated window has been opened for candidates to update their employment/service allocation details in DAF-I through the official website.

Candidates are urged to take note of the specific timeline for this service allocation update. The link for updating details will be active from February 1 to February 5, 2024, until 6 pm.

It's crucial to adhere to this timeframe, as no requests received after the closing date will be entertained, as emphasized in the official notice.

Furthermore, the UPSC has announced that Phase I of the Personality Test program is scheduled to take place from January 2 to February 16, 2024. Subsequently, Phase II of the program is slated for February 19 to March 15, 2024. The schedule for the remaining candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's website in due course.

It is imperative to highlight that only candidates who have successfully qualified in the written test are eligible to participate in the personality test. For additional information and related details, candidates are encouraged to refer to the official UPSC website.

In conclusion, this update from UPSC brings a ray of hope for candidates seeking to modify their service allocation details. As the UPSC continues to streamline its processes, candidates are reminded to stay abreast of the latest announcements and utilize the provided window for service allocation updates effectively.

The commission's commitment to fairness and transparency in the selection process is evident, and candidates are advised to make the most of this opportunity within the specified timeframe.
