Two individuals lost their lives on Sunday morning when a ceiling iron grille unexpectedly fell on them inside the popular shopping mall, Galaxy Blue Sapphire. The incident occurred as the victims were making their way towards an escalator on the ground floor, with the grille plummeting from the fifth floor. The victims, identified as Harendra Bhati and Shakeel, both residents of Vijay Nagar in Ghaziabad, were approximately 35 years old.

A distressing video of the incident was shared on social media by news agency PTI, showcasing the debris scattered on the ground floor of the mall. The footage highlights the severity of the accident, leaving viewers in shock. The local Bisrakh police station was promptly alerted by Yatharth Hospital about the unfortunate deaths caused by the iron grille falling from the fifth floor. Additional DCP (Central Noida), Hridesh Katheriya, confirmed the identities of the victims and assured that their families have been notified.
