Today, Apple announced its latest iteration of the MacBook Air, showcasing the groundbreaking M3 chip that propels its performance to new heights. Boasting remarkable efficiency and enhanced capabilities, the new MacBook Air models redefine the standards for power and portability in laptops.

The highlight of the announcement is the inclusion of the M3 chip, which promises a substantial performance boost compared to its predecessors. With up to 60 percent faster speeds than the previous M1 models and a staggering 13 times faster than Intel-based MacBook Air, the M3 chip sets a new benchmark in laptop performance. Moreover, the upgraded Neural Engine ensures that MacBook Air retains its position as the leading consumer laptop for AI applications.

Both the 13- and 15-inch models feature a sleek and lightweight design, coupled with up to 18 hours of battery life. This longevity is complemented by a stunning Liquid Retina display and new features like support for up to two external displays and significantly faster Wi-Fi.

The M3 chip, built on cutting-edge 3-nanometer technology, promises blazing-fast performance with its 8-core CPU, up to 10-core GPU, and support for up to 24GB of unified memory. This translates to smoother everyday tasks, faster photo and video editing, and seamless software development experiences.

Notably, the M3 chip enhances gaming experiences, accelerates image processing with AI, and significantly improves productivity tasks like working with spreadsheets and video editing in Final Cut Pro.

In addition to its exceptional performance, the new MacBook Air models are environmentally friendly, featuring 50 percent recycled content and adhering to Apple’s high standards for energy efficiency and sustainability.

Customers can order the new MacBook Air with M3 starting Monday, March 4, with availability beginning Friday, March 8. Prices start at $1,099 for the 13-inch model and $1,299 for the 15-inch model.
